The Blender Foundation (2002) is a non-profit organization focused on developing the Blender software. Its spin-off, Blender Institute (2007), employs 24 people working on software development and creative projects. In 2020, the Institute split into two entities: Blender Institute, supporting the Foundation, and Blender Studio, creating content and testing pipelines. Both organizations support the Blender community and contribute to Blender’s development via blender.org.
